Mrs. Palsdottir leads a united department

Distica has united its Purchasing department and Customer Service and Order Receipt department, with the goal of improving service to its customers and cooperation within Distica. Gudrun Anna Palsdottir is the head of the united department.

Gudrun Anna joined Distica at the beginning of 2020. She came to Distica from Kronan (one of the biggest grocery chains in Iceland), where she was department manager of logistic from 2015 to 2020. From 2007 to 2015 she held various positions at Lyf & heilsa (big pharmacy chain in Iceland) and its subsidiary DAC, among other things in import and logistics. From 2001 to 2007 she worked in drug development at DeCode Genetics.

Gudrun Anna holds a B.Sc. degree in biochemistry and a M.Sc. degree in pharmacology from the University of Iceland, as well as a M.Sc. degree in finances from Reykjavik University.
